Council Regulation (EC) No 2287/2003 of 19 December 2003 fixing for 2004 the fishing opportunities and associated fishing conditions for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, applicable in Community waters and, for Community vessels, in waters where limitations in catch are required, lays down sand eel quotas for 2004 [2].
10. On the basis of the information received in accordance with paragraph 1, the Commission shall establish a list of all Community fishing vessels intending to participate in the experimental fishing on sand eel in Norwegian waters and transmit it to Norway.
11. Fishing for sand eel in the waters of ICES division IIa, Skagerrak, Kattegat, North Sea (EC waters) by vessels flying the flag of a Member State or registered in a Member State, other than Denmark and the United Kingdom, is hereby prohibited, as are the retention on board, transhipment and landing of this stock caught by the above vessels after the date of application of this Regulation.
